The team are ‘on tour’ for much of this month and we started our travels with a trip to GrowQuip and Saltex.
GrowQuip is an event aimed at horticulturists and growers whilst Saltex is aimed more at those dealing with grounds care, sports surfaces, amenities, estates and green space management, so we covered a wide audience!
As always, we learnt a lot at both events and met a good number of people interested in our new product, the EnviroMonitor system
The EnviroMonitor system is a perfect system for the audiences at these events. It is a such a simple, effective and flexible monitoring system that we had a great deal of interest with comments such as ‘this is absolutely what we have been looking for’ ringing nicely in our ears!
The system works on a network topology with a main gateway, linking nodes and individual sensors. The gateway pushes the data into a cloud-based system which presents it to you in a simple and flexible format on your computer, smart phone, or tablet. One of the benefits for these audiences is that it is such a flexible system it can be customised to exactly suit individual conditions. For instance, you can choose to monitor moisture levels, soil temperature, soil salinity, temperature or humidity, but you can choose from numerous other options as well.
This week sees us at REAP. REAP is run by Agritech East. Agri-Tech East is an independent, business-focussed cluster organisation which aims to improve the international competitiveness and sustainability of plant-based agriculture and horticulture. It is bringing together farmers and growers with scientists, technologists and entrepreneurs to create a global innovation hub in agri-tech.
Finally, at the end of November we head to the large agricultural show, CropTec. We are delighted to be sponsoring the ‘DATA & ANALYTICS HUB’. Pete will be speaking on both days at 11.00am on day 1 and 14.50 on day 2. Drop by and hear all about how EnviroMonitor can benefit your business. You can also find us on stand 1.86
